Houston Rockets Clinch No. 1 Seed In Western Conference

Houston was off on Thursday, but the Rockets locked down the top seed in the West with Golden State's loss to Milwaukee.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Rockets clinched the top seed in the NBA's Western Conference on Thursday night the easy way — by sitting at home. With Golden State's 116-107 loss at home to the Milwaukee Bucks late Thursday, the Rockets locked down the No. 1 playoff seed with seven games remaining in the regular season.

Houston can clinch home-court advantage throughout the playoffs as early as Saturday if they win Friday night at home and the Toronto Raptors fall to the Boston Celtics on Saturday. The Rockets need just two wins to clinch it otherwise.

Here's the current playoff scenario if they started today.
