Ice Reported On Major Houston Freeways
I-45, I-69, US 290, Beltway 8, SH-249 and SH-242 have ice reported along with many neighborhood roads as wintry mix pelts Houston
HOUSTON, TX — The ice, sleet, rain and snow has brought treacherous driving conditions to Houston, which has a plethora of highways, bridges and overpasses. Though many have stayed off the roads early Tuesday, some people had to go to work or get chores done. Either way, it's not ideal to drive and law enforcement encourages folks to stay off the roads.
Here are a list of reported highways in and around Houston with ice reported on them. Patch will update road closures as they become available.
