Man Charged, Arrested In Midtown Murder Wednesday
Teddy Greer, 31, is charged in the death of Randy Dwayne Thompson, who died from severe head trauma early Wednesday morning.
HOUSTON, TX — A man accused of severely beating a man to death in Midtown this week was taken into custody today. Teddy Greer, a 31-year-old black man, was arrested this morning and has been charged in the death of Randy Dwayne Thompson, 49, who died from severe head trauma.
Thompson was found lying on the ground at 2300 Travis around 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday (April 11) with severe head injuries. HFD paramedics took Thompson to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died. Further investigation identified Geer as the suspect in this case.
