Massive Barbecue Restaurant Coming To Houston: 72 Briskets At A Time
How do you feel about 14,000 square feet, a bucking grizzly bear, 166 televisions, and 40 beers on tap?

HOUSTON, TX — If there's one thing that you would think Houston has enough of, it would be barbecue joints. Drive five miles in any direction from your home or office, and you're guaranteed to encounter dozen of restaurants serving brisket, chicken, and sausage.
But wait. Come May 30, another barbecue joint will enter the Bayou City culinary scene, and if size is your thing, you're going to love this one. It's called Smoke'n Honey House, and it's big. Really big. I'm talking 14,000 square feet of space in which to drink, dance, ride a bucking grizzly bear, and yell at yet another Texans quarterback.
The kitchen can handle 72 briskets at one time, so there's that, and the chef, Gilbert Arismendez, will also serve St. Louis-style pork ribs, macaroni and cheese, beer-brined chicken, and beef ribs.

The Houston Chronicle spoke to Wes Corley, the restaurant's general manager, who said that Smoke'n Honey House will be so much more than a place to get barbecue.
"We're selling an experience," Corley said, and added that the restaurant will organize and hold a variety of events, including tailgating contests, crawfish boils, and barbecue parties.

There will be a full bar, so expect tequila, whisky, margaritas, and any other libation that you could ever want to order.
Smoke'n Honey House is located at 8801 North Loop East.
