More Displaced Harvey Dogs And Cats At NRG Arena

Please share these pictures and descriptions of lost fur babies who just want to go back home

HOUSTON, TX — Hurricane Harvey displace Houstonians and wrecked property all over the Texas Coast in late August. Also displaced were thousands of animals that have been rounded up and placed in various shelters around the region and around the country. Everyday Patch will showcase a few different pets in temporary custody. Animals not rescued by their owners within 30 days of rescue will be put up for adoption.

Best Friends, a national organization, has set up camp at NRG Arena with pets brought in from all over the region. Their website has photos of the animals with descriptions of breed, age, gender, color markings and, in some cases, the area of town where the pet was found. The site goes on to say that owner must understand that things like collars or other distinguishing characteristics may have changed with their pet since they were found.

The Pet Reunion Pavilion at NRG Arena has more than 400 dogs and 100 cats looking for their owners. Owners of lost pets, or if you know someone who may have lost their pets, should browse the website to see if they recognize their furry friends.
