Overturned Beer Truck Causes Traffic Hangover Near Midtown
An 18-wheeler hauling beer, not driven by the Snowman, overturned at the Eastex Freeway near the 610 Loop.

HOUSTON, TX — Someone may have had a long way to go and a short time to get there. There's no word if a smooth-talking, handsome man with a mustache darted a black Trans Am through Houston on Tuesday morning. But folks certainly know there was an 18-wheeler hauling a load of beer through town.
A man carrying beer on the Eastex Freeway rolled his semi on the northbound exit ramp to the North Loop heading west. The traffic headache probably wasn't a good hangover cure.
The rollover caused a big backup in traffic, and many motorists were asked to take alternate routes during rush hour as crews were still trying to clean up the highway, which was having an impromptu party itself with the smell of booze.

The driver of the truck was fine, but just rather shaken up, according to the report from KHOU.
Take a look at this! Overturned semi carrying beer - closing 610 WB ramp near Eastex Fwy NB. Police say the driver was rounding the curve too fast, and the truck flipped. 2 cranes already here to pick it up. I don’t see beer but I can smell it!
