Rockets Win Streak: Where It Stands Among Team's All-Time Best

Wednesday's win over Milwaukee made it 17 in a row. Rockets play Friday night in Toronto, who leads the NBA's Eastern Conference.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Rockets won beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 110-99, Wednesday night for their 17th-consecutive win, passing the Boston Celtics for the longest winning streak this season. A huge challenge awaits Friday night if they want to make it 18.

The Rockets (51-13), who have the best record in the NBA and lead defending champs Golden State Warriors by a game in the Western Conference, will play at Toronto Friday night. The Raptors (47-17), who have won six straight, have the best record in the Eastern Conference and are two games ahead of the Celtics. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on AT&T SportsNet Southwest.

James Harden has averaged 30.1 points during Houston's streak, while the Rockets are outscoring opponents by an average of 12.4 points. The Rockets haven't lost since Jan. 26 at New Orleans
