The suspect who shot at two Fort Bend off-duty cops at The Address night club has been arrested and charged.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police have arrested a man they believe is the suspect who shot at two off-duty Fort Bend sheriff's deputies outside a trendy nightclub called The Address.

Police have arrested Corey Teamer, 24, who is charged with two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant in the 180th State District Court.

Shortly after midnight on April 23, the deputies noticed a disturbance between several men in the front parking lot area.

One man then ran across Old Spanish Trail, where deputies saw him pull a pistol from his waist band and fire several times at other patrons. The deputies chased the suspect and yelled "police," and commanded the suspect to drop his weapon. The man stopped, turned toward the deputies and fired several times at them. The deputies, in fear of their safety and for the safety of others, fired their duty weapons back at him.

The suspect, Teamer, then ran westbound toward Highway 288 and then southbound until the deputies lost sight of him. It was unknown if Teamer was struck by one of their shots.
