Tickets Available For Best Of John Williams Shows This Weekend

Williams' musical scores include Jaws, eight Star Wars episodes, ET, the Indiana Jones series and the first three Harry Potter movies.

HOUSTON, TX — Tickets are still available for this weekend's "The Best of John Williams" show by the Houston Symphony. Williams has scored some of the most popular movies in this lifetime, including Jaws, eight Star Wars episodes, ET, the Indiana Jones series and the first three Harry Potter movies. And the Houston Symphony said it will play all the popular scores on the 40th anniversary of Star Wars.

The shows will take place starting tonight (Friday, April 20) and go through Sunday, April 22. Jones Hall is located at 615 Louisiana Street in downtown Houston.

The show will certainly bring back memories of a rebel fleet destroying the Death Star, a shark’s fin slicing the water, a bicycle flying past the moon and a boy’s first day at Hogwarts: it’s impossible to imagine these iconic movie moments without the equally iconic music of John Williams. Enthusiasts are invited to take a thrilling tour through Williams’ most unforgettable scores in this must-see concert that highlights music from the Star Wars franchise in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
