United Airlines Adds Non-Stop Flights To Mazatlán, Mexico From Houston And Chicago

This is United's 24th destination in Mexico

HOUSTON, TX — United Airlines will start nonstop seasonal service between Mazatlán, Mexico and two American cities — Houston and Chicago, beginning in December. The flights from Bush Intercontinental Airport will be available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 21 to April 8 and only Saturdays from April 9 - Aug. 13.

Chicago's O'Hare International Airport will also provide nonstop flights to Mazatlán, which is a popular tourist destination along Mexico's Riviera.

"We are pleased to offer the only nonstop service between Mazatlán and Chicago O’Hare and Houston Bush Intercontinental," said Jake Cefolia, United’s vice president of sales. "United has provided nonstop service from the U.S. to Mexico for the last 50 years and we look forward to serving Mazatlán, United’s 24th destination in Mexico."

From Houston, United will depart Houston at 11:58 a.m. and arriving in Mazatlán at 1:30 p.m. The return will depart Mazatlán at 2:10 p.m. and arrive in Houston at 5:29 p.m. Both flights will be operated with Embraer E175 regional aircraft with 12 seats in first class, 16 in Economy Plus, and 48 in Economy.
