3 Injured In Motel 6 Shooting In North Austin

Three people are hospitalized with serious injuries after a North Austin shooting at a Motel 6 Tuesday night.

AUSTIN, TX — Three people are hospitalized with serious injuries after a North Austin shooting at a Motel 6 Tuesday night.

Police received a 911 call around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday for multiple shots fired at the motel off St. John's Avenue and Southbound Interstate 35 around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

When officers arrived, they found three victims with shooting injuries. All three were seen by Austin-Travis County EMS and taken to a local hospital.

One person had potential life-threatening injuries and two others had serious injuries, EMS officials said. At this time, police do not have a person in custody.
