Aggravated Robbery Suspect Sought By Austin Police

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at the Texaco station on 8630 Research Blvd., police said in an advisory.

AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking a suspect wanted in connection to a North Austin aggravated robbery of a convenience store on Sunday.

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at the Texaco station on 8630 Research Blvd. service road southbound, according to a police advisory. Police said the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Police said the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and was last spotted running westbound on Research Boulevard toward the 183 frontage road. The store employee was not harmed. Police said the suspect spoke Spanish throughout the incident as was described as being short in stature.

The suspect was last seen wearing rolled up jeans, a BOSS-brand camouflage hat, a black Adidas-brand shirt with long sleeves pulled up to elbows and a white bandana over the lower half of his face.
