Aldrich Street Fair Hosting Virtual Talent Show
The grand prize winner will receive $500 in gift cards from their choice of Aldrich Street area businesses, including Alamo Drafthouse.
AUSTIN, TX — Aldrich Street — the vibrant activity hub in the mixed-use, mixed-income community of Mueller — will be hosting Aldrich Street’s Got Talent, a virtual talent show taking the place of its signature annual event, Aldrich Street Fair, later this month.
The talent show will air on Facebook Live on Thursday, Sept. 24, when viewers can tune in and vote for their favorite act on social media. The grand prize winner will receive $500 in gift cards from their choice of Aldrich Street area businesses, including Alamo Drafthouse, Rebel Cheese, barre3 and more.
Starting now through Monday, Sept. 14, Central Texans can submit a talent video (3 minutes maximum) HERE. A committee will then select the top five finalists to be unveiled during Aldrich Street’s Got Talent, which airs on Facebook Live. Each of the five finalists will receive a prize; four finalists will each receive a $100 gift card to their choice of an Aldrich Street business and the grand prize winner will receive $500 in gift cards to their choice of Aldrich Street businesses.

While the vibrancy of the Street Fair can’t be enjoyed in-person this year, Aldrich Street is bringing the experience to viewers at home with goodie boxes featuring items from a variety of Aldrich Street businesses. The event will be giving away 150 boxes with swag items, like DIY cookie decorating kits from Lady Quackenbush’s Cakery, branded pint glasses from B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub, stretch straps from StretchLab Mueller, pasta package from L'Oca D'Oro, and more.
