Amazon Plans Massive Hub In Pflugerville: Report
Business publication reports on plan to build 3.8 million-square-foot logistics/distribution center on 94 acres of land at Pecan Street.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Amazon is poised to build a massive, 3.8 million-square-foot distribution center in Pflugerville, according to a published report.
Citing public documents and a confidential source, the Austin Business Journal reported plans call for a structure of four-and-a-half stories functioning as a logistics/distribution center on 94 acres of land at 2000 E. Pecan St., less than a mile from State Highway 130 in Pflugerville and Travis County.
The city's economic development officials have apparently been working behind the scenes in negotiating with Amazon representatives to land the project, choosing the code name "Project Charm" to identify the project among the cognoscenti.
