Annual Easter Egg Dye-O-Rama Promises Day Of Fun For The Family
Neill-Cochran House Museum hosts the annual event for families on the grounds of the museum and will feature COVID-safe protocols.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Austin-area families are welcome to join in on an annual Easter tradition at the Neill-Cochran House Museum with a free, hands-on Easter egg dyeing, scavenger hunts, self-paced tours, and lawn games with space to picnic in the shade. The museum will be open for free, however, the suggested donation for each egg is $2 with all proceeds benefiting ongoing programming at the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
The event scheduled Friday, April 2 at 12 p.m. will provide families with blown (emptied) eggs, dyes, wax resists, tables, chairs, and volunteers to offer help with the process. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own boiled or blown eggs. While the eggs dry, visitors are invited indoors to visit the Hope for Spring exhibit, and re-experience the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
Guests will enjoy the event outdoor on the venues spacious lawn, and crowd size will be managed to ensure appropriate social distancing is maintained. Mask will be required of all in attendance to protect the health and safety of visitors and staff.
