Austin Area Neighbors Enjoy Opportunity To Support Small Business

The Far Out Lounge and Eastside Pop Up will team up the last Saturdays of the month to showcase local vendors and support area nonprofits.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Austin area residents will have the opportunity to support small business and check out the talent of more than 20 local vendors over a three acre space for social distancing. Eastside Pop Up is teaming up with The Far Out Lounge on the last Saturday of every month to offer a great selection of products and goods from Austin's best, and will raise money each month to support the mission of a local nonprofit.

Shop Small Saturdaze will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. with this month's event raising money in support of NQAPIA (National Queer Asian Pacific Islander AAIP) organizations. The goal of NQAPIA is to build the capacity of local LGBT AAPI organizations, invigorate grassroots organizing, develop leadership, and challenge homophobia, racism, and anti-immigrant bias.

The family-friendly event will be held following COVID-19 safety protocols including masks requirement, limited capacity, table seating only, and guests asked to remain at their table unless shopping, using the restroom, or ordering at the outdoor bar. There will be live music with a performance by Dale Watson and his band taking to the The Far Out's Outdoor stage. Tickets are $10 and more information may be found HERE.
