Austin Creative Reuse Hosts Kids Jewelry Making Workshop
4th and 5th graders, and 8-13 year olds, are invited to an afternoon of material exploration, jewelry making and the chance to earn a badge.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Austin Creative Reuse invites you to an afternoon of material exploration and jewelry making fun this summer! Kid's Jewelry Making Workshop: Junior Jeweler Badge is an opportunity for your kiddos to learn about jewelry-making and explore their creativity. Participants will work with and try out different tools to make multiple pendants, and at least one pair of earrings, and there may even be time left at the end of class to make additional jewelry pieces.
Happening Saturday, July 17 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Austin Creative Reuse Center located at 2005 Wheless Ln., Austin, TX 78723, the workshop is designed for 4th and 5th graders, however, kids 8-13 are welcome to participate. There will be a variety of reuse materials to choose from, and all materials to make a piece of jewelry out of metal will be provided. To learn more, including registration link, click HERE.
