NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Austin Parks Foundation invites the community to its Zilker Train Naming Contest for a chance to be a part of history and come up with a winning name for the park's new train that promises to be as unique as Zilker Park itself. Zilker's new train will be ADA accessible and run on a completely electric engine for the first time ever.

The brand new train will need an emblematic name that captures the spirit of Zilker Park and its significance within the community. Participants may submit suggestions HERE, or upload the Zilker Train coloring sheet. Responses will be collected through September 21 and the Austin Parks Foundation will announce the most popular names at Party for the Parks on September 30th, at which time voting will open to select the final and winning name.
