Belmont Village Hosts Brain-Powered Event with Gerontologist

Belmont Village Lakeway hosted a happy hour on May 3, 2018 to share more about the Belmont Village programs and services coming to Lakeway this summer. Held at The Hills of Lakeway Country Club, the event featured nationally recognized gerontologist and memory care expert Beverly Sanborn.

Sanborn is a nationally recognized gerontologist with expertise in translating research findings into usable programs for elder care. Sanborn discussed the differences between normal memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, seniors and their families learned about how to maintain a healthy brain and the key components to successful aging, along with Belmont Village’s Whole Brain Fitness approach and its award-winning programs.
