AUSTIN, TX — A bicyclist was killed late Thursday after a crash with a car in North Austin, medics confirmed.
The incident occurred at VFW Road just past 11 p.m. at the intersection with the North Interstate 35 service road, according to a tweet issued by Austin-Travis County EMS.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area as closures and traffic delays had resulted in the aftermath of the collision.
