AUSTIN, TX — Barton Creek Square, one of the city's most popular shopping malls, will operate during special hours meant to accommodate the likely throng of Black Friday shoppers on the day after Thanksgiving.

With more than 180 retailers, the mall at 2901 S Capital of Texas Hwy. will be open four hours earlier than usual on Black Friday, and will stay open an hour longer, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the key shopping day.
