Black Pflugerville Presents "1804 - The Hidden History Of Haiti"
Documentary film explores the fascinating and previously untold history of Haiti and the Haitian revolution.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Black Pflugerville, a group who is devoting energy to passionately advocating for the inclusion and civic engagement, for the Black and typically under-represented members of the Pflugerville community, will host a fascinating evening with the screening of the documentary, "1804 - The Hidden History of Haiti" on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 8 PM - 10 PM.
The documentary film by Tariq Nasheed captures the untold history of Haiti and the Haitian revolution, which was the most successful slave rebellion in history. The controversial subject matter had never previously been explored by mainstream Hollywood; however, filmmaker Tariq Nasheed, felt the topic needed to be discussed to educate and to illustrate to a global community the perseverance of the Haitian people. The film takes an in-depth look at Haiti's history and touches on explanations for the current state of Haiti.
