'Burnet Road Eats' Scheduled In North Austin

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — This year's final installment of "Burnet Road Eats," an event showcasing eateries' offerings along the North Austin artery, is scheduled on Wednesday.

The monthly event features a dish special with drink priced for $10 and under as a way to highlight restaurants located along Burnet Road. The Dec. 6 event marks the last installment of the series for this year, featuring such diners as Barley Swine, Lucy's Fried Chicken, Bonhomie and more.

"Burnet Road Eats was created to encourage the Austin community to experience the resurgence of the restaurant scene in North Austin," organizers wrote. Participating restaurants will offer the following specials:

● Andiamo: Andiamo Sliders (mushroom, homemade sausage, and cheese
on homemade bread) paired with a glass of Sangiovese ($10)
● Barley Swine: Buttermilk Fried Chicken paired with a choice of Texas draft
beer ($10)
● Bonhomie: Cafe Mille Feuille (chicory cream, meyer lemon curd, meringue
and basil blossom), paired with a glass of Distillerie du Peyrat Organic
Cognac ($10)
● Bufalina: White Bean Crostini, paired with a glass of red, white, or rosé
wine ($10)
● Lucy’s Fried Chicken: Deep Fried Chicken Chimichanga with a small side
of rice and a can of Pearl beer for ($10)
● Noble Sandwich Co.: The Noble Pig sandwich (ham, pulled pork,
provolone, spicy mustard, mayo and bacon) with choice of draft beer ($9)
● The Peached Tortilla: Mom’s Toast (chopped shrimp, ground pork,
gochujang chili sauce and fresh herbs) paired with The Moulin Rouge
cocktail (bourbon, lillet blanc, lillet rouge, angostura bitters) ($10)
● Waterloo Ice House: Chicken Ranch Tacos paired with the house
