Capital Metro Expands Pick-Up Service To Dessau Neighborhood

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Capital Metro will expand its pickup service to the Dessau neighborhood starting Wednesday, officials said.

The local transportation authority's expansion to Dessau near Pflugerville will allow passengers to arrange an on-demand transit service through its Pickup app to anywhere they need to do go.

The pickup service will be weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., CapMetro said.

Officials said the ride will be free to children and $1.25 for adults, which is the same price as MetroBus and MetroRapid. Passengers are encouraged to use promo code "child2019" for kids 18 and under on the app.
