On Tuesday, October 5, neighborhoods throughout Pflugerville are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 2021 Annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event. Last year we were unable to hold National Night Out due to COVID-19, so let's celebrate our ability to come together with our largest National Night Out yet.

National Night Out is important because it:
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns, and neighborhoods celebrate National Night Out with a variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookouts, visits from local police and fire department, parades, flashlight walks, contests, and youth programs. This event has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.

National Night Out parties can take a variety of forms, including block parties, neighborhood-wide gathering and can be hosted in neighborhood parks, greenspaces, backyards and driveways, so get creative!
Register your party with us to receive resources and a scheduled visit from law enforcement at pflugervilletx.gov/nno. We have a PDF form or a mobile-friendly online form, so sign-up is easy and quick. There is no cost to register or participate. See you on October 5th!
