1 Dead, 4 Injured In Crash On FM 620 Near Lake Travis

The incident occurred along the 5200 block of North FM 620 Road on Wednesday evening, with Lake Travis firefighters helping with rescues.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A person was killed in a major collision near Lake Travis that left others seriously injured on Wednesday evening, emergency officials said.

The incident occurred along the 5200 block of North FM 620 Road, just east of the Quinlan Park Road intersection, at around 8:15 p.m. Austin-Travis County EMS medics said one adult was killed in the crash, and four others were rushed to area hospitals. Medics were assisted by Lake Travis firefighters in the rescue efforts.

Aside from the crash victim pronounced dead at the scene, medics said three were transported to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with injuries deemed serious to potentially serious. A fifth crash victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Lakeway Hospital with minor injuries, according to medics.
