Dads Get In Free At Texas Typhoon For Father's Day

In honor of Father's Day, the patriarch of the family can get in free on Sunday, June 16, with purchase of any single-day ticket.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Dads can make a real splash this coming Father's Day, with free admission at Texas Typhoon.

Admission for dads is free this coming Sunday, June 16, with the purchase of any single-day ticket, Texas Typhooon Austin officials said. There, dear old dad can splash around with family, ride the myriad tube slides, swim in the wave pool or get in some relaxation along the lazy river or in the privacy of a cabana all day long.

Hey, it's his day. If he wants to sleep in the cabana, you best let him.

The day pass must be purchased at the ticket window to receive a free pass for dad. The offer is not valid for tickets purchased online.

The 25-acre water park is located at 18500 TX-130 North Service Road in Pflugerville. Typhoon Texas opens daily at 10:30 a.m. and Season Pass holders are always allowed into the park a half hour early at 10 a.m. The park closes at 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, with extended hours Thursday-Sunday. The park closes at 8 p.m. on Father’s Day. Parking is always free.

"The water park prides itself in offering a wide variety of affordable, fresh food and two full-service bars: Circle T Bar by the wave pool, and a new bar this summer called Typhoon Saloon, located on the island near the popular Gully Washer and splash pad," officials said.

On Father’s Day, Typhoon Texas will offer $5.99 Mimosas and $4.99 Saint Arnold’s Fancy Lawnmower 16-oz. drafts, as well as two-for-one grilled hot dog baskets at the Burger Shack. DJ Pete will be playing music and deejaying starting at noon, and local country music singer Triston Marez will play live on the stage by the wave pool from 5 to 7 p.m.

Typhoon Texas is a privately held company that also owns and operates another water park of the same name in Katy, Texas. Customers can purchase season passes that allow visits to both parks, which are only about a two-hour drive apart.

Three new levels of 2019 season passes and single-day passes are on sale now at typhoontexas.com.
