Delayed Start For Pflugerville ISD Amid Inclement Weather
A growing list of Central Texas school districts implemented delays due to a forecast of sleet.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Pflugerville Independent School District has implemented a two-hour delay for classes on Tuesday, Nov. 12 due to inclement weather.
"Although the roads are primarily dry at this time, there is the possibility of a late dusting of precipitation between now and 6 a.m. that would affect morning traffic," district officials wrote in an alert.
Bus routes will operate their regular schedule two hours later than their usual time. The school day will end at the regular time.

An Arctic cold front that blasted through the region around noon Monday is predicted to result in a plunge of temperatures just below the freezing mark with potential sleet and frozen rain threatening to create hazardous road conditions.
TWO HOUR DELAY PfISD has implemented a 2-hour delay due to anticipated weather conditions. Buses will operate their regular bus routes two hours later than their usual time. The school day will end at the regular time.
