Friendship Walk Advances Best Buddies Mission

PFLUGERVILLE, TX—The community is invited to join friends and neighbors in support of inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with the 2021 Best Buddies Friendship Walk in Pflugerville. Enjoy an afternoon getting to know new friends and helping to advance the mission of Best Buddies.

The Friendship Walk proceeds will directly benefit the local Best Buddies chapter, office and participants. The event is scheduled Saturday, April 17 at 4:30 p.m. at Spare Time Texas located at 1724 Farm to Market 685, Pflugerville, TX 78660.

The program's goal is to empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
