Gathering Offers Alternative For Those Struggling During Holidays

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — While Christmas is a time for celebration and cheer, many people struggle to find joy during the holidays. For those who suffer from anxiety or depression, the Christmas season may create feelings of isolation making it difficult to celebrate. First English Lutheran Church will host Christmas for the Rest of Us: A Gathering for All Who Struggle with Joy at the Holidays on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The gathering is offered for those experiencing personal struggle and are looking for quieter ways to find the beauty of Christmas. The gathering is designed as a safe place to experience your feelings and still form part of a community who seeks to participate in the tradition of Christmas.
