K-Pop Enthusiasts Enjoy Dance Challenges And Local Performers
Halloween K-Pop event invites everyone to enjoy a night of music, dance, and costumes centering around popular South Korean musical genre.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Elevate Event opens its doors to host K-Pop Nite for fans of the popular musical genre originating from South Korea. Korean pop music (K-Pop) has become a global phenomenon thanks in part to the catchy melodies and the singing and dancing precision of the artists performing K-Pop.
K-Pop Nite happens Saturday, Oct. 12 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m and will feature a costume contest along with random dance challenge, dance performances and more. From 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., the event will include K-Pop music video requests by Austin's most subscribed K-Pop Vlogger, John Norman, and will include an open-to-anyone dance stage.
The night's festivities will include a Random Dance Challenge hosted by Rumoki, with songs changing every 30 seconds as guests try their best to keep up. Local dance troupe LOKD will perform and event-goers are encouraged to arrive wearing they K-Pop-themed costumes for the night's Halloween Costume Contest where prizes will be given to the top 3 looks voted on by the audience. There will be a photo booth and custom snapchat filters to use on the dance floor.
