Kids And Teens Enjoy Week Of Activities At Pflugerville Library

The Pflugerville Library hosts weeklong activities designed to appeal to kids and teens and allow for opportunities to socialize and learn.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX— Finding weekly activities for kids and families to enjoy may sometimes seem like a daunting task. Age appropriate events may seem few and far between when you're trying to find something interesting and have more than one child at home. Fortunately, the City of Pflugerville hosts various events throughout the week that appeal to kids of all ages. Check out some of the upcoming featured activities happening in your community.

Monday, Nov. 11

  • Baby Time for Babies 3-12 months: Baby Time is a program designed to encourage language development and promote social and motor skills through activities such as rhymes, songs, stories, and finger play.   • STEM for Kids 5-8 years old: STEM at the library allows kids ages 5-8 explore science, technology, engineering and math through different weekly activities.   • Paws & Read (Recommended for children in grades K-2): Young readers share a book with a volunteer team from The Dog Alliance and build their literacy skills with the Paws & Read Program.   • Bilingual Storytime (English & Spanish): Children up to age 5 with an adult are welcome. Bilingual (English & Spanish) story time introduces basic elements of the Spanish language including names of letters, numbers, colors, and more, while building lingual and social skills through books, songs, rhymes, and fun.   • Tween Hangout Night: Each month, tweens are invited to stop in for a different activity. Kids ages 8-12 are welcome to this come-and-go event. We'll also have basic starter Dungeon & Dragons supplies available, including blank character sheets, dice, and the basic rules. This event is open to teens ages 12-18.
