Man Dies After Being Run Over In North Austin
Daniel Peter Foti died Friday from his injuries after being run over by a car several times at a 7-Eleven parking lot, officials said.
AUSTIN, TX —A 35-year-old man is dead after being run over by a car at a gas station parking lot in North Austin.
Daniel Peter Foti died Friday from his injuries after being run over by a car several times at a 7-Eleven parking lot at 1100 W. Parmer Lane, authorities said Wednesday.
Police received a 911 call at 11:59 p.m. Friday from the store clerk who said a man, later identified as Foti, was run over several times by a silver car. Foti was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead a short time later, officials said.

Austin police homicide investigators and crime scene personnel said they are investigating Foti's death as suspicious until it can be ruled otherwise through autopsy results and other pertinent evidence and information.

In an effort to better understand the circumstances, investigators are interested in speaking with the driver of the silver/grey car. The car is likely a 2017-2020 Honda hatchback, officials said.
