Man Dies In North Austin Traffic Wreck
Medics pronounced a man in his 40s dead in a wreck along the 12700 block of southbound North MoPac Expressway around noon on Saturday.
AUSTIN, TX — A man died after a North Austin car collision on Saturday that left the accident victim pinned to a vehicle.
The incident occurred along the 12700 block of southbound North MoPac Expressway at around noon, Austin-Travis County EMS medics conveyed on Twitter. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene while others involved in the wreck declined treatment.
The cause of the crash is unclear. The wreckage sparked road closures and significant traffic delay as police investigated the scene and medics tended to the injured.
