Marcel Tramone Pimpton killed In Overnight North Austin Shooting
AUSTIN, TX — Marcel Pimpton was killed in a shooting in North Austin Sunday night, according to police.
At 11:36 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a shots heard call at an apartment complex in the 800 block of W St. John's Avenue, near the intersection of N Lamar Boulevard, Officer Dimitri Hobbs, a spokesperson for Austin Police, said in a video news conference early Monday morning.
The officer said detectives have identified a suspect; however, police have not released that person's identity. Police are conducting interviews to find out how the shooting happened.
