New Nothing Bundt Cakes Opens in Pflugerville

With two Nothing Bundt Cakes locations in Austin, including Westlake and Southpark Meadows, Christy and Brian Herbstreit are excited about the opening of their third location in the growing city of Pflugerville. “We have watched the amazing growth of this area and knew that we would eventually want to be a part of this community,” commented Christy. “Over the past seven years since opening our first bakery, we have become an extended family with several employees who have been with us all that time. To be able to grow and provide additional opportunities for these great people is such a blessing.” Furthermore, the Herbstreits’ 19-year-old twin boys, Brett and Trey, returned from college to help out in the bakery and open this new location. “This is truly a family affair and what a way to ring in the new year!” The bakery will host grand opening festivities for the community next week (see details below).

  • Center for Child Protection Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization that works to reduce the trauma for children during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children
• Saturday, January 25
  • 10 a.m. – Free Bundtlets for a Year – The first 50 guests on this day will win free Bundtlets for a year (one per month for 12 months, one card per household, age 18+)
  • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Cake-A-Palooza – Enjoy a'bundt’ant samples of their delicious cakes!
