Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Northwest Austin
The victim was transported to a hospital after the incident at Cameron Road and Ferguson Lane just before 9 a.m., but later died.
AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed after being fatally struck by a car in the northeast portion of the city on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Cameron Road and Ferguson Lane, according to a police-issued tweet issued just before 11 a.m. Police said they were alerted to the death just before 9 am. Motorists are urged to avoid the area to accommodate a police investigation.
According to police, the pedestrian was rushed to a hospital before succumbing to injuries.
