Pedestrian Killed In North Austin
The early Thursday incident along the 9000 block of Research Boulevard left an adult dead at the scene, medics said.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed in North Austin early Thursday after being struck by vehicle, medics said.
The incident occurred just before 1:35 a.m. along the 9000 block of the Research Boulevard service road, Austin-Travis County EMS medics wrote on Twitter. The adult pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, medics added.
Significant traffic delays resulted in the collision's aftermath, officials said. It's unclear if the driver was charged. Patch will update when more details are known.
