Pflugerville Eyes Reopening Schedule For Parks, Library
Amid falling coronavirus rates, the city is poised to open Lake Pflugerville Park and other facilities while encouraging continued caution.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Pflugerville Public Library and Parks and Recreation on Tuesday announced reopening schedules staring this month.
In response to Travis County moving into Stage 3 of Austin Public Health’s risk-based guidelines, the City of Pflugerville Library and Parks and Recreation will reopen the following facilities and services effective Friday, Aug. 28, officials wrote in an advisory. To that end:
- Parks and Recreation: Athletic fields, outdoor basketball courts, volleyball courts, Windermere tennis court, park open spaces and Lake Pflugerville Park.
- Library: The courtyard will reopen to the public, but all other public spaces at the facility will remain closed.

Despite the loosened protocols of a Stage 3 alert scenario, city officials remind residents to continue to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Visit the City of Pflugerville website for all modified city services and reopened facilities.
