Pflugerville Kicks Off Christmas With Festival Of Lights, Parade

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville will kick off the holiday season with its Festival of Lights and Christmas Parade, being held Downtown on Main St. on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. There will be festive performances and plenty of family fun to enjoy including a Christmas Parade presented by Knights of Columbus Council 10373.

The event takes place around City Hall and there will be free hot chocolate provided by West Pecan Coffee + Beer, cookies and funnel cakes from Munch Zone, and Nick's Homegrown kettle corn, with musical performances behind City Hall. Attendees will also have the chance to visit any of the great Pflugerville establishments open during the event, including Hanovers Draught Haus, Me's Cajun, Three Legged Goat and West Pecan Coffee + Beer.

• Starting at 5 p.m.: Christmas Parade
• 4 - 7 p.m.: Pfestive holiday performances, refreshments and pfamily pfun around City Hall
• 6 p.m. (approx.): Santa arrives to light the tree and take photos

PFESTIVAL AND PARADE ROAD CLOSURES

• Main Street (between Railroad Ave. and 3rd St.): closes at 2 pm, will reopen after 7 pm.
• Railroad Avenue (between Pfennig Ln. and Goodspeed Pkwy.): closes at 3:30 pm.
• Railroad Avenue (parade route south of Goodspeed Pkwy.): closed approx. 4:45-8 pm.
