Pflugerville Set To Stage Elaborate Drive-Through Holiday Display

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The spirit of the holidays will be on pfull display in Pflugerville in spite of the coronavirus that's proven to be a powerful grinch this year.

The city has organized an elaborate drive-through event enabling families to take in the magic of the season albeit in somewhat altered form. To that end, downtown Pflugerville will be decked out in spectacular fashion for holiday revelers to drive through and take in the splendor.

Residents will enter from Railroad Avenue, turn right on 1st Street (renamed Candy Lane for the time being) into the parking lot behind City Hall. There, no less a figure than Mrs. Santa Claus will be greeting visitors while collecting letters to her busy husband.

Along this wonderland, visitors will be awed by pfestive decorations, holiday lights and the Pflugerville tree while listening to carolers and secure their goodie bags — all from the comfort and safety of their vehicles.

Sadly, there will be no parade this year due to ongoing reach of the coronavirus. But yes, Virgina, there will be a holiday display in Pflugerville after all! Instead, Pflugerville is far from pforlorn, instead staging a pformidable pfestive display that will prove to be delightful pfor the pfamilies and pfriends! Pfantastic!
