St. David's Children’s Hospital Kids Fest & Safety Fair Scheduled
Free event on Oct. 27 to feature bike helmet giveaways and fittings, safety information, demonstrations with games, prizes, food and more.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — St. David's Children's Hospital will host its 3rd Annual Kids Fest & Safety Fair later this month — a free event featuring bike helmet giveaways and fittings, safety information and demonstrations with games, prizes, food and more.
Given the that Halloween is close at hand, children attending the Oct. 27 event are encouraged to arrive in their favorites costumes, organizers said.
The Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, a nonprofit that provides youth bicycle classes and clinics, will also host a bicycle safety course during the event, hospital officials said in a press advisory. As such, children are invited to bring their bicycles for a free safety check. Bikes will also be available for children to borrow, officials noted.

The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, Oct. 27, in the St. David’s Children’s Hospital parking lot, located on the campus of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, 12221 N. Mopac Expressway The fun-filled and educational gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m to noon.
