Suspect In North Austin Restaurant Robbery Sought
Police responded to a Subway store at 7110 Cameron Rd. on Friday at around 9:50 p.m. after receiving a report of an aggravated robbery.

AUSTIN, TX — Detectives are investigating an aggravated robbery at a restaurant that occurred in North Central Austin this past weekend, officials said Wednesday.
Police responded to a Subway sandwich shop at 7110 Cameron Rd. on Friday at around 9:50 p.m. after receiving a report of an aggravated robbery, officials said in an advisory. The suspect entered the restaurant before approaching the cash register when she retrieved a handgun and pointed it at the cashier while demanding money, police said. Police added that the suspect made life-threatening statements to the cashier during the confrontation.
The suspect then fled on foot, running northbound across the street with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Police released surveillance camera images of the suspect, describing her as being between 18 to 22 years old with a slim build and weight between 120 to 130 pounds. The suspect stands between five feet, two inches and five feet, five inches, police added, and she was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black-and-white tennis shoes. Police noted she carried a semi-automatic handgun.
Detectives asked those with information about this case to contact them at (512) 472-TIPS, submit a tip on the Crime Stoppers website, or use the Crime Stoppers app. Those submitting tips have the option to remain anonymous, police said, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Tips also can be submitted anonymously via the police department's mobile app, Austin PD, which can be downloaded for free on iPhone and Android.
