Woman Dead In North Austin Shooting; Suspect At-Large
A woman is dead and a suspect is still at-large after a shooting in North Austin, authorities said Saturday.
AUSTIN, TX — A woman is dead and a suspect is still at-large after a shooting in North Austin, authorities said Saturday.
A woman, whose identity has yet to be released, died Saturday evening after police found her with multiple gun shot wounds near the 1900 block of W Rundburg Lane.
Austin police said the woman was taken to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Police said the 911 call came in around 3 p.m. Saturday at the Ironhorse Flats Apartments near U.S. Highway 181.

Police could not provide a suspect description and said their relationship to the victim is unknown at this time.

Authorities believe this homicide to be an isolated incident and is not connected to the 6th Street mass shooting.
Officials are interviewing witnesses and will provide more information when they can.
