Yellow Sage Street Will Undergo Improvements In Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Yellow Sage Street has been approved to undergo much needed street improvements, according to the city of Plugerville.

The city approved a $267,062 contract with Smith Paving Inc. to overhaul the city street in Tuesday's council meeting. The street improvements will span from Bellmeade Boulevard to El Malino Drive and are expected to begin at the end of June and be completed by November.

The improvements will include traffic control, concrete removal, sign removal and relocation, and drainage improvements, authorities said.

Smith Paving Inc. beat out Daimond X Contracting Inc., which bid at $307,928, and Smith Contracting Co. Inc, which bid at $304,351, according to a city document.
