City, County Offices Closed New Years Day
Have business with your city or county? You'd better take care of it before Tuesday.
The start of the New Year happens Monday night, and if you have any business with any city or county office that needs to happen, it’s best to be there before the offices close to welcome in 2019.
Trash and recycling collection will happen as scheduled for Monday for those residents in Harris whose collection days fall on Monday.
However, there could be some adjustments for those that call on New Year’s Day.
Offices that will close on New Year’s Day include:
- Harris County offices
- City of Houston
- City of Pasadena
- City of Baytown
- City of Channelview
- City of Bellaire
- City of Tomball
- City of Humble
- City of Jersey Village
- City of Sheldon
- City of Deer Park
- City of Katy
- City of Webster
- City of Aldine
- City of South Houston
- City of La Porte
- City of Galena Park
