Deer Park Employees to Get 1.5 Percent Pay Bonus
Employees pf the city of Deer Park will get a one-time, 1.5 percent pay bonus.

DEER PARK, TX — It looks like it's going to be a good year for Deer Park city employees. The Deer Park City Council recently voted to give all full-time employees a one-time, 1.5 percent bonus in pay.
The across the board bonus was in recognition of employees' "exemplary efforts" in contributing to the city's fund balance, according to the agenda documents for the Deer Park City Council meeting.
The bonus will equal out to 1.5 percent of an employee's annual base pay and will cost the city about $409,500. The bonus is limited to employees who have successfully completed their probationary period, or have worked as sworn personnel for the Deer Park Police Department for six months.
