DEER PARK, TX — A new gun store is set to open in Deer Park. The Gun Cleaners, 2816 Center St., will open its doors by the end of August.
The store is part of a nation wide franchise with locations in Colorado and Oregon, as well as four existing locations in Texas. As the name states, the company is known for its gun cleaning services.
To clean modern firearms the company uses a proprietary process that utilizes ultrasonics and patented solvents and lubricants.

The Deer Park location, owned by Ben Whitfield, will offer more than just cleaning services.

Whitfield, who graduated from Deer Park High School and recently retired from the U.S. Army, will offer concealed carry classes, various types of firearms training and home security.
