Pasadena, TX -- For anyone unwilling to fight the traffic and crowds that are associated with Freedom Over Houston, Pasadena has an option for celebrating the Fourth of July close to home.
The annual Fourth Fest will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center, 7902 Fairmont Pkwy., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be a car and truck show from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be a kids' zone, full of inflatable rides and games, inside the convention center. The event will also feature the USMC Toys for Tors barbecue cook off and live music by The Powell Brothers.

There will be a special, patriotic concert from the Pasadena Philharmonic, a water balloon war zone and other sports and games.
A 20-minute firework show will begin at around 9:15 p.m.
