La Porte High School Alum Qualifies for Third Straight Olympics
Kerron Clement, a La Porte High School alumnus, will be making his third straight appearance in the Olympics.

LA PORTE, TX — It may be more than a decade since Kerron Clement stalked the halls of La Porte High School, but as the saying goes once a bulldog always a bulldog.
Clement is about to bring the world's attention to the L.P. for a third time. In the 2008 Olympics, Clement won a silver medal in the 400 meter hurdles and was a member of the gold medal 4 x 400-meter relay team.
He also competed in the 2012 Olympics, although he didn't medal. He's also a two-time NCAA Outdoor champion, a two-time USA Outdoor champion and a two-time World Outdoor champion.
